Meet the Team

Erika Walters is the founder of Walters Law LLC and a Colorado native who grew up in Elizabeth, Colorado. Erika earned her Master’s Degree in Communication from the University of Denver before attending the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, where she graduated in the top 8% of her class and earned membership in the prestigious Order of the Coif.

Erika focuses her practice on tailored estate planning, with particular experience serving blended families and retirees. She is passionate about designing estate plans that not only preserve wealth and protect loved ones, but also make the administration process as seamless and stress-free as possible for families during difficult times.

In addition to estate planning, Erika is deeply committed to incapacity planning strategies that help clients maintain dignity, autonomy, and clarity in the event of disability or cognitive decline. Her practice emphasizes practical, customized planning solutions tailored to each family’s unique dynamics and long-term goals. 

Outside of her legal practice, Erika enjoys spending time with her two daughters, Neomi and Nora, as well as her two Basset Hounds and her cat, Sagwa. She is a proud Christian and attends Plum Creek Church in Castle Rock. 

​Andrew is an associate attorney at Walters Law. After graduating with honors from Washington University in St. Louis, he taught kindergarten before quickly realizing teachers really do have the hardest job and pivoting to law. He earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado School of Law, where he was active in the American Indian Law Clinic and moot court. 

He brings a diverse legal background to Walters Law, having previously practiced both civil defense litigation and consumer protection litigation. This breadth of experience gives him a well-rounded perspective and a strong foundation to serve his clients’ needs. Andrew excels at listening to his clients and creating estate plans that help them navigate the complexities of planning for uncertain futures. 

In his personal life, Andrew enjoys long walks and camping trips in Wyoming with his wife Wendy and their 120-pound Mastador, Reuben, and he relishes any time he gets to spend with his three adult children. He is also an avid racquetball and tennis player and, many decades ago, a champion bridge player who now will eagerly play when given the chance.

Wesley Walters brings a unique blend of financial expertise, operational leadership, and business strategy to  Walters Law LLC and its affiliated growth and business development initiatives. He earned his undergraduate degree in Business from University of Colorado Colorado Springs and later obtained a Master’s Degree in Finance from Colorado State University.

Before joining Walters Law, Wesley worked extensively in personal finance, commercial finance, and operations management. He served as Vice President of Operations for Native American Bank before leaving the banking industry to launch his own business, Growth Phase, where he helped small and mid-sized businesses increase revenue, improve operational efficiencies, and develop scalable growth strategies.

At Walters Law, Wesley oversees the firm’s day-to-day business operations, including software and technology management, systems implementation, marketing strategy, and operational development. His background in finance, analytics, and business operations allows him to help drive the firm’s continued growth while supporting efficient client service and modernized legal operations.

Personally, Wes is an avid sports fanatic who enjoys traveling with his wife, Erika, and their two daughters.

Deb McIntyre is a highly experienced paralegal with a remarkable track record of over 40 years in the legal field. Her expertise lies in estate administration, estate planning, corporate law, and real estate law.

Originally from Southeast Colorado (La Junta), Deb currently resides in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. She is a proud mother of one son, who, along with his wife, has blessed Deb with two adorable grandchildren. The family is based in Parker, Colorado. Deb's love for her grandchildren knows no bounds. Her grandson is an exceptional swimmer and ice hockey player, while her granddaughter finds joy in gymnastics and dancing. Deb is fondly known as the "team" grandmother for her grandson's hockey team, where she actively supports and cheers for the players.

Beyond her legal career, Deb is an avid sports fan, particularly passionate about the Colorado Avalanche, Denver Nuggets, and Denver Broncos. In her leisure time, she indulges in reading, exploring the picturesque Colorado mountains, and tending to her plants and flowers in her yard. Deb's creative abilities extend to interior decorating and refurbishing/painting used lawn furniture, allowing her to express her artistic side.
